Cancer Survivor Forms Group to Encourage Others
Stacy Gleason considers herself very fortunate, because she has survived colon cancer.
Gleason, a legal assistant at a Merrillville law firm, was diagnosed in 2001 with Stage 4 colon cancer; she was 33 years old then.
Now she is developing a support group, offering those with the disease a place to go for information and camaraderie.
